Join Kirk Gadzia (USA), of Resource Management Services & This HANDS ON & PRACTICAL, field focused 2-day workshop that will give you the skills and understanding necessary to get started quickly and successfully with management focused, mob stocking, time controlled grazing for natural pasture improvement and what Joel Salatin calls, “mob-stocking herbivorous solar conversion lignified carbon sequestration fertilisation!”

Come prepared, roll up your sleeves, bring suitable clothing and be prepared to get dirt under your nails over TWO FULL DAYS in the paddock on Taranaki Farm (Home of the Australian Polyface Project) where we practice high density mob stocking. See for yourself the remarkable effects of good grazing management. This is an intensive, practical workshop intended for anybody who wants to build their physical skill set. We will be going into detail on grazing planning, forage calculations, stock days per acre/hectare, stocking densities, brix measurements, pasture recovery times, fencing do’s & don’ts, trough watering and reticulation systems and a lot more all with very grounded practical experience based advice. Time permitting we will also visit a second property with similar management which is achieving outstanding results with bare bones infrastructure. The goal of this workshop is to deliver practical skills and down to earth advice for you to get started right away. Bonus : Tamara Gadzia of the Quivira Coalition will give a bonus introduction on Land Literacy and Reading the Landscape plus present a short time-lapse recording of an erosion repair project based on the work of Bill Zeedyk and performed on Taranaki Farm (workshop venue). This presentation will feature a site on-farm that we’ve repaired so that you can visit and see for yourself the benefits of this work. |

Workshop Trainers
Kirk Gadzia, is an Holistic Management International Certified Educator with over 20 years experience teaching the concepts of Holistic Management and regenerative farming. Kirk is also co-author of the USA National Academy of Sciences book: Rangeland Health.
Ben Falloon is the principle driving force behind Taranaki Farm (home of the Australian Polyface Project and venue for this workshop). He is also a founding director of RegenAGĀ® which since its inception in 2010 has trained hundreds of farmers across Australia in regenerative agriculture.
Tamara Gadzia is an instrumental member of the Quivira Coalition, having organised and implemented countless riparian restoration, water harvesting & outdoor educational projects, seminars and workshops having worked closely with Bill Zeedyke on the widely respected publication Let the Water Do the Work.Getting to Taranaki Farm
